Today marks the 50th anniversary of the death of Ernie Kovacs. I always say that if there was one person I would rather have been, it would have been Mr. Kovacs. He got to smoke cigars and drink cognac on television and he was married to Edie Adams....but, of course, this was the man who single handedly forced his vision of what comedy and technology could be down our gagging gullets. Avisionary genius, a true mad man, my hero, Ernie Kovacs.
