I don't know why I thought of this today...Who even remembers Scorcese's Taxi Driver?
It was quite shocking at the time. The intense portrayal by DeNiro of Travis Bickell and his descent into madness was a painfully graphically violently brilliant cinematic breakthrough. That's why this parody by the Canadian Comedy Troup, SCTV was all the more hilarious. Dave Thomas!
