Huckabee Wants You To Be Indoctrinated At Gunpoint

Unedited clip from Mike Huckabee's speech at the Rediscover God in America conference before his 'Americans should be forced at gunpoint to listen to David Barton' was edited out.
Chris Rodda, the author who has written extensively debunking Barton, wrote:

I was quite surprised… to come across a video clip from this conference on the People for the American Way (PFAW) Right Wing Watch blog with the headline “Huckabee: Americans Should Be Forced, At Gunpoint, To Learn From David Barton.” I had watched Huckabee’s speech. How on earth could I have missed a statement like that? Well, I didn’t. It had been edited out of the webcast that I had watched.
Kyle Mantyla over at PFAW’s Right Wing Watch had recorded Huckabee’s speech when it was streamed live on Thursday, and posted the ‘forced at gunpoint’ clip on Friday. By Saturday, when I watched the webcast on the United in Purpose website, that part of Huckabee’s speech had been edited out.

Barton, of course is the leading promoter of a brand of falsified American History altered to support the claim that America was founded as a Christian, rather than a secular, nation.
After this statement, I would tend to think that Huck would rather keep his day job at FOX rather than run for president.

I'm going to repeat my comment that I made at man with the muckrake here:

I wouldn’t say that religion is dog dung–it’s the people who decide that God is talking to them and giving them a very negative message.

The fact that what God might be telling them is contrary to the public interest doesn’t bother them. They are the choosen, especially if it is in as arrogant a fashion as the Scottish National Covenant, The Puritans, Taliban, and other self-shosen defenders of morality. These people have caused far too much blood to be spilled because they are waging their moral crusades, Jihads, or whatever they want to call it.

There is very little difference between the meaning of crusade and Jihad which is made quite clear by people such as Jones and Huckabee. If one thinks about it, they are incredibly similar:
Campus Crusade for Christ or Campus Jihad for Allah.
Crusade against the infidels or Jihad against the infidels (Who the infidel is depends on your perspective!)

The Muslim world is just as upset by Bush saying that he is going on a Crusade as the Western World is by Bin Laden talking of Jihad.

I don't heart Huckabee!

Hello All,
I think Huckabee has a good plan because there is no one more devout Christians than those Central American Indians that converted at the point of a Conquistador's sword.

Bottom line Laci, I think you have summed it up all quite well.

Thank you. We are in agreement!

Here, Sarko is in trouble because he referred to his touted "leadership" in the Libyan Intervention as heading a CRUSADE! Nobody liked that...

I think 'SUCKABEE' should have a shot gun shoved up his ass.... And I'd be happy to pull the trigger, to blow his freakin' brains out of there!
