Duchamp's custom made boxes were a portable limited edition gallery. His glass works are reproduced as acetate overlays with notes explaining the process and "mythology" behind the various layers. In quite a few ways, the valise is a conceptual breakthrough. Follow the links  for more information and the movie is about an hour, but well worth it.
