Frankly, every gourmet recipe I have ever read from the late 40's early 50's specifies a dash of sherry....My special touch...well, that's why every recipe from that era tastes like crap....everyone wanted to add their special touch. I love mexican food, and consider myself a dedicated expert. I have done so much research and I go through so much to get authentic ingredients here in France. This is not guacamole.
