The Overton Window has an insufficient suspense as a thriller, terming the book "plodding" with a "half-baked plot" over-burdened with its "sermonizing but may very well be found tucked into the ammo boxes of self-proclaimed patriots and recited at "tea party" assemblies.

Why does this not surprise any of us just as any of the Clown’s books have any better literary value in the past? I wonder what inept person writes this crap for him. I am guessing that he has had a good day when he is able to sign his name of the back of his pay check.

Well, I guess the review was edited.
It's still a scathing piece, but they edited out the part that said
"If Glenn Beck sucked his own dick any harder, it would have turned black and fallen off, if he actually had a dick to suck"
Now that was prose!

Beck bears the same relationship to rodeo clowns that Pauly Shore does to timeless comedy - although putting Glenn in a clown suit and fencing him inside an escape-proof enclosure with a thousand pounds of enraged beef armed with horns does hold a certain appeal.
