Music and Diplomacy

Condoleeza Rice flies to Paris and Tblisi today to try to pick up the pieces
of the shattered influence of America after the Russian Invasion of Georgia.
Help me, please, I'm trying to recall one real diplomatic success Miss Rice
has had in her carreer. She supposedly is a specialist on Russia and the Soviet Union.
The manipulation of the American foreign policy in Georgia triggered the debacle which is still unfolding.
If her much touted talents as a concert pianist were on the same level as
her much touted talents as a diplomat, a Condi Rice Concert would
certainly include the piano catching on fire, blowing up and taking out at least half the audience!
