Indeed it is and therefore must be crushed!! Just as 'great' authors must be muzzled!!

But great art has a will. Think of the Sistine Chapel...The glorification of the human form and pain without precedent. It intimidated a pope who would have censored it.
Art is nurtured by repression, it is the human response to inhumanity.

oh, and just about any concept that came out of Marcel Duchamps brain was a dangerous challenge to any previous ly accepted definition of art.
