For a self appointed moralist, espousing traditional "family values" and morality, if judged only by his actions and influences, it would appear that Eric Cantor is in reality suffused utterly by the spirit of Satan. Hypocrisy personified, his every intention and every action are motivated by pure evil lusts for money and power. He is a heartless, soulless, Godless corpse that hasn’t stopped breathing yet.
In his latest clash with Obama earlier this week, Cantor brazenly said that the exchange for the Democrats' concessions on spending cuts was the Republicans even discussing voting for a debt ceiling increase. “What I don’t think the White House understands is how difficult it is for fiscal conservatives to say they’re going to vote to pay for a debt ceiling increase,” he said.

But Cantor led the Republican charge to raise the debt ceiling under Bush, five times, in 02, 03, 04, 06, 07. 

And to call themselves fiscal conservatives is a joke. Reckless and corrupt Republican financial policy created this destroyed economy, and which Cantor helped legislate during his first six years in Congress. I highly recommend reading Ten Inconvenient Truths About The Debt Ceiling.

So here’s a rundown of some of Eric’s greatest hits.

Cantor’s response to the tornado that destroyed Joplin, Missouri was memorably deplorable. The monster tornado touched down on Sunday afternoon of May 22 at 5:41. While actual human beings were mobilizing aid to the area, Cantor was scheming how to manipulate the situation to political advantage. On Monday he said that if Congress passed an emergency bill for Joplin the money would have to be funded by spending cuts. His remarks were made while many were yet unaccounted and the death toll had yet to reach its height. People who had been buried in their shattered homes were dying while he was devising and delivering his rhetoric. That is stone cold evil.
From this article in salon.com: ‘Last year the Wall Street Journal reported that Cantor, the No. 2 Republican in the House, had between $1000 and $15000 invested in ProShares Trust Ultrashort 20+ Year Treasury EFT. The fund aggressively “shorts” long-term U.S. Treasury bonds, meaning that it performs well when U.S. debt is undesirable. (A short is when the trader hopes to profit from the decline in the value of an asset.)'

If the economy tanks, Cantor pockets a windfall. The investment is all the more appalling when you consider that the Cantors lives quite comfortably. In 2009, Eric's wife, Diana Cantor, was running a branch of the wealth management division of Emigrant Bank, the recipient of 267 million dollars of the federal bank bailout. Meanwhile, the congressman played a key role in the 700 billion dollar bill getting passed.

At a town hall meeting on September 24, 2009, Cantor said about health care: “Health care, in this building, has now made it so that we cannot seem to get anything else done. We’ve got burning issues out there in this country. First and foremost is the fact that Americans want to see job security return, they want to see economic security return. But somehow we’re unable to deliver on that because of the intransigence on the majority’s part on even discussing ways for us to agree on health care.” 

In 2011 the burning issues for Republicans are spending cuts and providing the wealthy with continued tax relief. And in discussing the debt ceiling, Republicans are the intransigent ones, refusing to even consider raising taxes so much as one penny.

At that same town hall meeting a woman asked Cantor what her very close relative with tumors in her stomach that needed immediate treatment and had no insurance was supposed to do for health care. Eric responded: “I guess I would ask what the situation is in terms of income eligibility and the existing programs that are out there. Because if we look at the uninsured right now, there is probably 23 or 24 percent of the uninsured that is already eligible for an existing government program. Beyond that, I know that there are programs, that there are charitable organizations, there are hospitals here who do provide charity care.”

And now, less than two years later, he is working with furious passion to eliminate those programs and more.

Cantor once said: “The use of obscenity…should not and cannot be tolerated. As a parent, I share the concerns of many regarding the level of offensive television and radio programs that are transmitted into our homes. The recent violations that have occurred disgusted not only me, but damage our society.”
In February of 2009, Cantor’s office released this unbelievable, profanity laced, failed attempt at a union bashing video. I posted the video in the following post. I found the video in reality, to be a great satirical promotion for the real good That the AFSCME, The Public Workers Union does for us every day. Cantor, in his misguided and utter lack of self awareness, thought he was making a funny about Union/Mafioso corruption mixed with more than just a little ethnic stereotyping.

That’s just arrogant, mental illness hypocrisy from a foul, wicked sociopathic psychotic personality...a man Kurt Vonnegut would have referred to as a classic PP.

Vonnegut wrote this during the high idiocy of the Bush years, but we are still dealing with the PPs who are trying to regain utter and complete control without regard for the havoc they are wreaking on the planet, our lives, our society for their own narcissistic psychopathic personal denial of their connection with reality.
