But, what is even more obscene, you could be executed in Saudi Arabia for expressing atheist ideas. In fact, according to this 2012 Washington Post piece, there are seven countries that use the death penalty to enforce their religious fascism and suppress the expression of fascism.  In many cases, the laws are used to attack political opposition, but the new Saudi Sanctions are extremely alarming and the religious right of America seems only too eager to scream into the echo chamber. Lately, it would seem that religion is being used by right wing chrstofascists as an excuse for almost any kind of discrimination in America. Would you try to predict which American State would dare to try to enact anti atheist legislation next? Remember, one of the most important tactics that fascists use is to spread the concept that they are the victims. They use the tactic of being persecuted by their victims.
