St. Robert

My wife has a new toy, a little Vado digital video recorder. She is a fine art photographer, but this is a new way for her to express herself.  On Thursday, we took a little outing to the town of Allassac and on the way back, we stopped in St. Robert in the Correze, which is about 16 kilometers east from our house.  Basically frozen in time, a hilltop village with a perfect Romanesque 12th Century church and what was once a huge monastery. This is my favorite bike destination. I usually make this trip at least once a week. It was a beautiful spring afternoon and there had been a baptism in the church and a big celebration in the village salle de fete. I posted this so you could take a few seconds to enjoy my world.

What a joy it must be to live within 10 miles of such beauty ... but then .... take away the ancient church and it looks just like Woodbury, Tennessee. Minus the ogres and goblins, of course. Beautifully photographed video, but we liked her Front Yard of a French Country House video better .......

Thanks for the appreciation! I have known this woman for around 35 years and I have never ever seen her actual hair color! She is just too damn cute!
