The eleventh night of Zappadan is tradtionally the night of the fret elves and we pay homage by shutting up and letting Frank play his guitar. This is a piece called Pink Napkins.

From Engineer of Knowledge Hello Microdot, What a great selection. I just kicked back and enjoyed the guitar riffs. Man what a great artist for foresight of music.
The last part of that jam quite tasty. FZ had a great tone......
At the same time (if ya don't mind a une petit cynicism), FZ's solos, while often very cool, are somewhat monotonic: he rarely moves through any changes, and doesn't do much chromatically--say like Coryell, or even Mahavishnu.....(or Miles, Bird Parker, Trane, marsalis bros, etc.-----and/or the Kenton band)
