Well, I feel the quote is about the context of what makes something true art. It is how you frame it, whether it be a paragraph or a picture...the details and the presentation, the esthetic choicees define the art. Chesterton was a real conservative actually and a fervent English Roman Catholic, but he was a great artist as a writer and I enjoy his work which never seems to age....
