I tried to do this with a clear back ground, but I still get an opaque film....more research needed! t would have worked if my blog background was white.
I use 2 methods with blogger. My gif images are usually stored on photobucket. you can post them directly and resize them with that method. The other simpler method is to post them as regular image uploads from your computer on a blog post. The secret is to remember to resize them after they are uploaded as original size. That is the only way they will work. If you don't do this, they wont work.
fyi: I used 25 separate frames to create this, but first I solarized the images to get the color distortion. I didn't use photoshop, though my next gifs will be photoshop CS4...this was the free open sourced GIMP program for mac OS Snow Tiger.

How do you incorporate gifs into your blog? I use Blogger and rarely does a gif work when added as an image. Just curious...
