As the decade now known as the "Noughties" draws to a close, I realize that 40 years later, this is still my favorite all time song.

I have a head on face first musical memory of Hound Dog Taylor...
In the early 70's in Ann Arbor, in a club, dancing in the back when someone opened the door of the ladies room smack in my face...
I was out cold for a few seconds they tell me, but when I came to, Hound Dog was playing this song, I had a bloody nose and I just got up and kept dancing!
After the show, we met Hound Dog and I can truly attewt that the man did wear a wig!
He was the best!
