We have a terrible boulangerie, you have to go to another village if like bread that doesn't taste like styrofoam. There's a really good restaurant in the Hotel and another little very creative place with erratic hours... An little epicerie, auto repair and a sawmill...that's it. Not even a gas station. The real action this time of the year is the big tent that the guy with the alembic sets up by the lavoir which is fed by a fresh water spring. There, every day, rain or shine, farmers bring barrels of fermenting plums which he turns into eau de vie...

Hello Microdot,
What a great photo. This is art my friend. I just showed this to my wife and she loves it.
That is definitely a cool place to live.
