The Bastard Song

It's another French Music Friday as I try to prove that there actually is great new music in France, though sometimes you really have to look for it.

Here's Skip The Use, Live in Lille performing The Bastard Song. This is high energy post punk. The singer, who goes by the name of Matt Bastard is a non stop machine on stage. The core of the band has been performing for 10 years and 2 years as Skip The Use. Pure post punk rock with an electronic edge, great songs...They actually perform music in French, but it's wild to hear Matt enunciating with an english accent....
