It's After The End Of The World

For all of you folks out there who are a wee bit upset about the predictions that the world is going to end this Sunday. Relax....
Su Ra officially declared that time had ended back in 1974 and it was already after the end of the world.
Don't you know that?

But but but... That means REM was wrong when they launched "The the end of the world as we know it" back in the 90's...

Oh, who to believe in all this mess...

Ha,,,I was a member of the Subgenius back in the 80's.
I did a few comix for them and recorded some noise with Bishop Cripes of Las Vegas...
Well maybe we will get lucky and they will all get raptured on Sunday in their Playtex Maidenform Living bras. I would pay good money to see that....

Snap!

I imagine we would find a lot to natter about if we ever met off line.

I thought this was the NASA song.

Just imagine all those geeks in white shirts singing this at their control panels!

I saw Sun Ra 3 times...the last time was at a club in Ann Arbor. It was an awesome 3 hour or so performance around the time Space Is The Place was made.
It was a grand performance, ranging from Sun Ra destroying his minimoog to letter perfect big band readings of Fletcher Henderson arrangements from the 40's.
I have a favorite Arkestra recording...from early 70's. It was live performances at the Maeght Foundation in St. Paul de Vence. One side is a long noise assault free form freak out...but the other has a recording of Friendly Galaxies that is one of the most sublime things I have ever heard.
