The Big Lawn Of History

Today, Francois Hollande became the 9th President of the 5th Republic of France. He succeeded Nicolas Sarkozy who has the distinction of being the most rapidly disposed of President of the 5th Republic. It was Sarkozy who imposed a 5 year term on the Presidency, it had been 7 years before him. Well, in one of the last official statements Sarkozy made as president in an interview, he rather inelegantly stated..."Just wait, in a year, the French people will miss me." 
Well we've placed him in a forgotten corner on the big lawn of history. Hopefully, for his sake, when we finally get around to mowing that lost corner of the lawn, we will miss the little dwarf.......
