A Trip In Time Over The Bridge....

I recently spent a lot of time on the NYC subway system. I also walked over the Brooklyn Bridge on a clear crisp fall day. It was a real nostalgic week for me, but once I was there for a few days, it felt as if I had never left. Somethings, some feelings never seem to change.
This is a video of a film that was actually shot by Thomas Edison of a train ride that no longer exists. When the Brooklyn Bridge opened in 1883, the old BMT line ran on it. This is the film of the trip across the East River from Manhattan to Brooklyn in 1898.
