I was a dolls fan from the first time I saw the Rundren album in the KMART in Oregon, Ohio. I had never heard of them before or knew what they were about...I just had to have that record! It was probably the only copy sold at that outlet.... Years later, I moved to NYC and played in bands and moved bands and one of the bands I moved regularly, was The Hearbreakers...I used to have to wake Mr. Thunders up at 4 pm to get access to the amp in his apartment and then drive him to a sound check at Max's... I loved this band, these guys and still seem to be totally plugged into the esthetic...or what ever....
Raphael...why did you eliminate your blog? I thought it was original and so far interesting content. I'm glad you decided to join my friends group. Please keep in touch!
