Thom Tillis, the Republican State House Speaker of North Carolina won the Republican primary to be their candidate for the US Senate. Her is going to face Democrat, Kay Hagan in what looks to be a very closely watched and ugly campaign. Tillis is no moderate, to be sure, but his victory was a win for the Republican "establishment" against his even more conservative Tea Brained opponents. Tillis is a pandering scumbag and has already degraded himself, kissing both Karl Rove and Jeb Bush's scabby buttocks. In the 2011 video above, he brags that he is getting the poor to fight each other as his tactic to wage war on the poor if elected. In this clip Tillis is seen speaking to a group of Republicans on the need to get those with a physical disability, such as a woman with cerebral palsy, to turn on and look down at those who “choose to get into a condition that makes them dependent on the government.”

"At some point, you’re on your own. We may end up taking care of those babies, but we're not going to take care of you."

He doesn't just talk this talk, but actively pursues these type of policies, as he brags in a campaign ad of personally "stopping cold" Medicaid expansion in North Carolina. What a nasty, nasty piece of work. And this is the “Republican Establishment” candidate for the Senate. Tells you a lot about them, eh? But if he really wants to effectively appeal to the TeaBrained idiots he so obviously is trying to woo, he should simplify his message. Let a real artist do his PR. Again, I have to tip my beret to the genius of Mel.....
This is how Rome destroyed itself and well, history has a nasty way of repeating itself.
